Ultimate Super-Green Smoothie

I have this smoothie a couple of times a week as it is like a multivitamin that tastes great. Packed full of vitamins and minerals particularly folate, if you are using a Nutribullet then you get all the fiber as well!

Prep time – 10 minutes, Cook time – 0 minutes, Servings -1

Ingredients

  • 2 handfuls spinach (or other leafy greens)
  • 2 ribs of celery chopped
  • 1 banana
  • 75g blueberries
  • 150 ml  water, organic live yoghurt or nut/soy milk
  • 1 dsp flax seeds
  • 1 dsp protein powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp organic nut butter (optional)

 

Directions

  1. Put all the ingredients in a high speed blender (I use the Nutribullet) and blend for 1-2 minutes
